Tip ups have been really slow for me this year. Running a bit of everything as far as lures and live baits. I am using steel leaders. Anyone ever used Floro carbon for leaders? I hear a lot of guys are using it, i just fear the pikes teeth.

Try shoveling the snow around your tip up hole to let more light come through to show off your bait(if there is any).I shovel around my darkhouse to show off my decoy more and it seems to help.good luck.

Fished a tourny over the weekend. Approx 250 lines in the water on a 30 acre lake for 6.5 hours and no one caught a keeper fish. I would guess less then 12 fish were landed!
